Five months. One hundred and fifty days without publishing a single article on this blog.

It wasn’t due to a lack of motivation, but rather a combination of professional overload, accumulated fatigue, and a deep need to realign my priorities. As a CIO, father of two, and motorcycle enthusiast, I tend to give everything until the tank is empty.

Today, I’m back. And I’m back differently — with more clarity, more discipline, and especially with Microsoft Copilot as a true daily ally to balance high performance and well-being.

Why this break was necessary

At the end of 2025, I went through an intense period: major strategic projects, deployment of AI agents across the company, family life, and my passion for motorcycling which serves as an escape but also demands time and energy.

Little by little, I dropped my writing routine, technology watch, and certain well-being practices. The result: less focus, less creativity, and a feeling of disconnection.

The turning point came during a solo motorcycle ride one Sunday morning in spring 2026. No notifications, just the road. I realized I couldn’t keep running without stopping. It was time to regain control of my time and energy.

How Copilot helped me restart (3 ready-to-use prompts)

The real shift was moving from occasional use of Copilot to making it a genuine partner for productivity and well-being.

Here are three prompts I’m still using regularly. Feel free to copy and adapt them:

1. “Gentle Restart” Prompt – Rebuild a routine without pressure

2. “Time & Energy Protection” Prompt – My daily ritual

Review my calendar for the week, identify possible deep-focus blocks, suggest a 90-minute slot for writing or creation, and recommend micro well-being breaks (breathing, walking, stretching). Respect my values: minimalism, family time, and motorcycle rides.

3. “2026 Innovation Watch” Prompt

You are a Microsoft Copilot expert in 2026. Summarize the latest developments on autonomous Agents, Workflows, and multi-agent orchestration. Suggest 2 concrete use cases I could test this week as a CIO, with ready-to-use prompts and key governance considerations.

Key lessons from this comeback

  1. Consistency beats intensity. One article per week written with pleasure is far better than a perfect article every three months.
  2. AI is not a time thief — it’s an energy multiplier when used with clear intention.
  3. Well-being is non-negotiable. Motorcycle rides, screen-free evenings, and time with my children remain priorities. Copilot simply helps me free up time for what truly matters.

I finally feel aligned again: cutting-edge technology, demanding professional life, and personal balance.

This post marks my official return. My commitment for the coming months is clear: one article every week on the topics I’m passionate about — AI, Microsoft Copilot, and well-being in a hyper-connected world.
