I was very excited to attend this workshop. I wanted to learn more about how to use the Dataverse. I also wanted to know if I should be around solutions with it in the future.
You never heard about Microsoft Dataverse!? You want to secure your data. You want a central data warehouse. You want it to be powerful and fully integrated in your environment? Well, go check everything about Microsoft Dataverse. Microsoft Learn is the right place to start if you can’t attend to a full workshop day like I did.
This workshop was not a deep dive like I wished. However, it was a very good introduction. Leaving the workshop after this long day, I’m convinced I need to give it a try. I already have no doubt that I will convert a lot of Excel Files and SharePoint Lists to Dataverse tables.
One aspect that I really like about Dataverse is the virtual tables. Having access to external data sources from Dataverse without the need to import them is an amazing feature. It prevents the need to import all the data inside Dataverse and so saves some storage. On top of it you can build applications. I already see some use cases that i will try very soon.
End of Workshop day !
The night has been spent doing some fun activities with other attendees. We especially went to the Area15 to discover the immersive attraction of the Mega Market.
Inside the Mega market, you need to find hidden doors to access the immersive rooms. Try to find what happened to a young teenager who disappeared. Awesome experience !

It was an amazing day! I’m quite tired, but that’s to be expected.
Next the article of the Day 3, the day of Keynote! I have some incredible things to share about this day, and it’s coming your way very soon.
