What is Microsoft Copilot ?

First Copilot started as Copilot for Visual Studio. It is powered by artificial intelligence and uses data from millions of open source projects to suggest relevant code snippets as you type. You can use Copilot to generate functions, tests, comments, and more. Copilot works with many programming languages and frameworks, and integrates with popular code editors like Visual Studio Code.

Now Microsoft Copilot is extended to the full Microsoft Suite from Outlook to Word, PowerPoint and the others. Copilot is becoming a real assistant in your daily tasks.

When Microsoft Copilot will be available in Education Tenants ?

Microsoft Copilot will be available for Microsoft 365 Education tenants starting January 1st 2024. It’s a major jump for the productivity for faculty and staff. But ! There is a always one, Microsoft Copilot is not cheap, it cost  $30 per user per month for faculty and staff.
