Today I would like to suggest a book about technology.

This book is “The Year in Tech 2023”, I think it’s for anyone who wants to know more about the current trends, you don’t need to be a developer or a technology specialist to understand it and get real benefits from it.

It talks about metavers, NFT, the possible future of money, e-business and of course artificial intelligence.
In less than 180 pages you will be able to understand better the current trends and through its simple and well explained vocabulary you will be able to form your own opinion on the current trends.

Artificial intelligence good or bad, well it’s kind of up to you to see if you want to see the glass half full or half empty (French expression to say that you would prefer to see things on their positive or negative side).

The technology specialists may find that this book does not go into enough detail, for me for the discovery, for business leaders or decision maker it is an excellent book. I like to come back to it to review a specific point, to find a reference to study in more detail on the internet.

Down below some insights by Bing AI (Like it said to me, he didn’t read the book 😁), you will see if you prefer my personal review or the one of bing :

The book The Year in Tech, 2023: The Insights You Need from Harvard Business Review is a compilation of essential reflections on technology for the year 2023 from the Harvard Business Review. It contains reflections on easy-to-use AI tools, contactless commerce, crypto for business, and the mature metaverse. These new technologies are reshaping organizations in hybrid offices, on factory floors, and in the C-suite. The book will help you understand what the latest and most important technological innovations mean for your organization and how you can use them to compete and win in today’s turbulent business environment.
I hope that helps! 😊

Quote of the week

“Technology is nothing. What’s important is that you have a faith in people, that they’re basically good and smart, and if you give them tools, they’ll do wonderful things with them.”
